L'EAU는 ‘물’을 뜻하는 프랑스어로,
‘Laboratory of Environment, Architecture, Urbanism’을 의미합니다.
로디자인은 도시와 환경 그리고 건축을 축으로 하는 미래지향적
문화생산자이고자 합니다. 로디자인 도시환경건축연구소는 도시, 환경, 건축의
통합적인 사유를 연구하고 실험하는 그룹이며 소통의 장입니다.
인간의 삶의 질을 형성하는 사회적, 문화적, 자연적 환경 등 다양한 관계망을 건축적으로
재구축하기 위해 Architecture and Urbanism, Renovation and Interior Design,
Environ ment design 개념의 토탈디자인을 추구합니다.

L'EAU Design is a group seeking after such environment as falling under comprehensive sense
and attempt the relationship with architectural design. 'environment' includes meanings of
social and cultural conditions that influence in human lifestyle as well as ecological and build
environment.
L'EAU Design, since its establishment in 2000, has been pursuing a total design focused on ‘
Architecture and Urbanism’ ‘Renovation and Interior Design’ ‘Environment Design’ in order to
architecturally design diverse concerns amid the better 'human environment', which is based on
our research about social and cultural background of human.

김동진은 홍익대학교 건축학과를 졸업하고 ㈜서울건축에서 실무를 익혔으며, 프랑스 파리-벨빌
국립건축대학에서 수학하였다. 2000년부터 현재까지 ㈜로디자인 도시환경건축연구소 대표로 활동하고
있으며, 2005년부터 홍익대학교 건축공학부 건축디자인전공 교수로 재직 중이다. 주요작으로는 공주
파크애드호크라시(Park Adhocracy), 수서 유유자적, 논현 마트료시카, 청담 마치래빗, 제주 베이힐
풀앤빌라, 청담 바티-리을 등이 있으며, 31•38•42회 한국건축가협회상, 25,33회 서울특별시건축상, 1회
젊은건축가상, 미국 The Architecture Master Prize 2019, 독일 Iconic Award 2015, 7•9회 강남구
아름다운 건축상 ‘대상’, 등 다수의 건축상을 수상하였고, 2016 제15회 베니스비엔날레 건축전 「The Far
Game」, 2014 독일 베를린 국제전시회「Seoul, Towards a Meta-City」 , 2010,11 한국 현대건축가
아시아순회전 「MEGACITY NETWORK 일본, 중국」 등의 국내외 건축 전시회에 초청되어 활동 중이다.

Kim Dongjin graduated from Hongik University with a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture and worked at
SAC International, Ltd. He studied also at Ecole Nationale Superieure d’Architecture de Paris-Belleville.
Since 2000 he has been the president of L’EAU Design Co., Ltd. Laboratory of Environment Architecture
Urbanism, and has been a professor of architecture design at the Graduate School of Architectural Engi-
neering at Hongik University since 2005.
His major works include Gongju “Park Adhocracy,” Suseo “self stack_flow&stay,” Nonhyun “Matryoshka,”
Chengdam “March Rabbit,” Jeju “Bayhill Pool and Villa,” and Chengdam “Bati ㄹ.” He won numerous
architectural awards including the 28th, 31st, and 42nd Korean Institute of Architects Awards, the 25th
and 33rd Seoul Architecture Awards, the 1st Young Architect Award, The Architecture Master Prize in
2019 in the U.S., the Iconic Award 2015 in Germany, and the 7th and 9th Gangnam-gu Beautiful Architec-
ture Awards. He has been invited in domestic and international architectural exhibitions such as the
2016 15th Venice Biennale of Architecture “The Far Game,” the 2014 Berlin International Exhibition “
Seoul, Towards a Meta-City,” and the Korean Modern Architects Asia Touring Exhibition, “Megacity
Network Japan and China” in 2010 and 2011.
